Hamburg is a modern city on the Elbe and has the second largest port in Europe. The famous port of Hamburg, which is over eight centuries old, was an important link in the Hanseatic League. Nowadays, Hamburg inspires with its breathtaking architecture, its interesting museums and the up-and-coming art, culture and music scene.
A special feature of Hamburg is the Speicherstadt, a collection of buildings on oak trunk foundations along the water, which forms the largest contiguous Speicherstadt in the world. Hamburg's newest landmark is the Elbphilharmonie, completed in November 2016. Here visitors can take part in concert tours and visit the Plaza of the Elbphilharmonie. The Elbphilharmonie is also part of our City Game and Challenge event module. We provide the teams with puzzles on interesting topics on site and lead them to exciting places.
